The zoo has an international reputation for its high standards of animal welfare, husbandry and conservation breeding and for its contribution to conservation, education and research.

The Animal Health Care Department is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced veterinary nurse to join the team.

The position will involve all aspects of zoo animal nursing including implementation of our preventative health care plan, laboratory work, maintenance of computerised records and supervision and training of our other nursing staff.

We need a good communicator and organiser with attention to detail and patience. The applicant must be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical nursing skills including clinical experience with non-domestic species.

Work is Monday to Friday, no night duties. Competitive salary.
