Animal Resource Technician/Instructor (Ref 214/08L)

Based within the programme area of Land Based Industries and Environmental Sustainability at Wiltshire College Lackham, you will mainly be involved in the delivery and demonstration of best practices for animal care concerning large and small, domestic and exotic animals including DWA species and our new Blue Cross cattery. You will be a part of an enthusiastic team whose role is to provide a diverse learning resource to 250 students studying animal care, management and science at FE and HE levels.

Ideally you will have an appropriate HND/foundation Degree qualification and have particular skills in working with exotic species, reptiles and fish.

You will be proactive and prepared to maintain and develop our learning resource and work closely with industry.

The successful candidate will be required to work 37 hours per week including at least one weekend day per week.
