Nature Ranger - Escot

Escot is a privately owned East Devon rural estate of some 1100 acres. Through opening its historic gardens and parkland to the general public it has established a growing reputation for bringing the natural world to the attention of all generations. Additionally it runs an eclectic series of conservation projects as diverse as the captive breeding of beavers, wild boar and red squirrels, the soft release of water voles, and the restoration of water meadows.

Escot now wishes to appoint its first full time Nature Ranger whose roles will include supervising the current programmes and designing and introducing a series of new conservation, educational and leisure initiatives.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a passion for nature, an ability to work as part of the close knit estate team, and a mature commercial awareness.
This full time salaried position is a key appointment for Escot and could be the opportunity of a lifetime for a candidate who has the required experience and appetite for the role. Salary by negotiation.
