RARE SPECIES CONSERVATION CENTRE - SENIOR KEEPER


We are currently looking for an experienced keeper who has a minimum of 2 years experience working in a Zoological collection. City and Guilds Animal Management certificate and ability to use ARKS preferred but not essential. You would be part of a small team split into three sections responsible for the care and welfare of a varied collection of species, specializing in small carnivores, felids and prosimians. You will required to work 5 days out of 7 and on public and bank holidays.


RSCC is a small facility and potential candidates must be able to work well in a small team, be an well organized and self motivated individual with high standards of hygiene and cleanliness which are essential in this role. Previous experience caring for small carnivores and/or felids would be very beneficial in this role. The opportunity for this position to become more senior in the near future is also available.



Position Start Date: March 1st

Accommodation: Not Available.

Closing Date: January 31st

Salary: Between £14,000 and £18,000 PA dependent on experience.
