Shepreth Wildlife Park - Experienced Animal Keeper



Shepreth Wildlife Park is looking for an experienced animal keeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be expected to work with a variety of taxa, including small mammals, primates, birds, reptiles and invertebrates. All of our keepers are encouraged to participate in a range of activities which include environmental enrichment and education.


In addition to general husbandry requirements, the position will involve public presentations both on and off-site with a range of invertebrates and reptiles. Experience in falconry (preferably Lantra Approved) would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have at least three years experience working in an animal collection and relevant academic qualifications. They will also be enthusiastic, reliable and a good team player, and must have held a clean driving licence for at least 2 years.



Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday.
Hours: 9am - 6pm (Peak) 9am - 5pm (Off- Peak)
