Guests visit Chessington World of Adventures for Britain’s wildest day out and the animals they encounter all add to the atmosphere of excitement and discovery. This year, with the introduction of our new Wild Asia, Serengeti Plain and Lorikeet Lagoon attractions, we allow our guests to get up close and personal with even more of the planet’s most amazing wildlife.

About the role:
From Tigers to Sharks, Gorillas and Military Macaws to Marmosets, our Zoo and SEA LIFE Centre boast a huge array of wildlife – and with our new Wild Asia, Serengeti Plain and Lorikeet Lagoon attractions which are all designed to allow our guests get up even closer and more personal with the cheeky, the mischievous and the exotic – there really couldn’t be a better time to join our awesome team at Chessington World of Adventures.

Working within our Ungulates team you will be responsible for delivering unrivalled standards of Animal Husbandry and welfare required by, amongst others, our Goats, Zebra, Sitatunga and Oryx. You will be part of the team creating the most stimulating environment possible – not just for our guests, but for the animals too - and since we’re big on conservation, education and research and you’ll have a big part to play in that too.

About you:
Our ideal candidate will have completed an animal based qualification, with some experience of working in a Zoo environment or equivalent. You will be a confident communicator and more importantly an alert listener. You will have passion and excitement for your chosen field, with a keen drive to develop your career as an Animal Keeper.
