Bird Keeper, based at Regent's Park
£22,475 p.a. inclusive, depending on experience
ZSL London Zoo is part of the Zoological Society of London, a charity dedicated to the worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Bird Keeper to work on our Bird section. Applicants must have proven experience dealing with a variety of birds within a Zoo environment. You should also be familiar with accepted husbandry practices and standards and have an interest in breeding programmes and conservation. The ability to work as part of a team is essential as are excellent communication skills.
A relevant zoo keeping qualification is required. Benefits include a non-contributory pension scheme, interest free season ticket loan and a subsidized staff restaurant.
