Invertebrate Keeper - London Zoo



Qualified Keeper, B.U.G.S Section
£22,475 p.a. inclusive, depending on experience

We are looking to recruit an experienced Keeper to work on our Biodiversity exhibit and conservation facility ‘B.U.G.S’. Applicants should have proven experience dealing with a variety of invertebrate species within a zoo environment as well as an interest and knowledge of other taxonomic groups including aquatic species. You should also be familiar with accepted husbandry practices and standards and have an interest in breeding programmes and conservation. The ability to work as part of a team is essential as are excellent communication skills and a willingness to engage our visitors on a daily basis.

A relevant zoo keeping qualification or equivalent experience is required. Benefits include a non-contributory pension scheme, interest free season ticket loan and a subsidized staff restaurant.
