Senior Keeper – Aviculture

We have a vacancy for a Senior Bird Keeper to join our team.
The role will involve deputising for our Head Keeper on days off, assisting the head keeper in the care and management of the bird collection ensuring high standards of animal welfare and public display.

We have over 160 species of bird within the park ranging from sunbirds to ratites and work together with other collections to ensure that threatened species as well as good avicultural exhibits can be maintained into the future.

We are seeking someone with a minimum of six years bird keeping experience, ideally in a public collection.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, willing and knowledgeable, whilst being keen to learn more and having a good team ethic.
