Animal Trainer

The Wolf Science Center (http://www.wolfscience.at/) a scientific non-profit organization in Ernstbrunn, Austria, is looking for an animal trainer.

As a member of the group of WSC trainers, she or he will be responsible for the training and daily care of the dog and wolf packs of the WSC, will conduct behavioral research and have related administrative duties as well as interact with students and visitors.

Knowledge on contemporary animal training and handling techniques as well as good English are requirements. Applicants with experiences on interacting with hand-raised wolves and with long-term commitment will be preferred. German knowledge, team spirit, good communication skills, social competence and flexibility will be advantageous.

The successful applicant may be required to go through a trainee period of 1 to 3 months. We offer a dynamic working environment and the opportunity to be part of a unique research station.
