Howletts Floating Keeper


 

Howletts Wild Animal Park in Canterbury, Kent is recruiting for an experienced

Floating Animal Keeper whose time will be divided between the five animal sections in the park.

 

Howletts Wild Animal Park is renowned for its collections of primates and large mammals.

The position requires an enthusiastic, self motivated person with experience working within a mainstream wild animal collection as they will be required to work with a broad range of species including carnivores, elephants, ungulates and primates.

 

This is a physically demanding position so candidates must be physically fit, self motivated and have a genuine interest in conservation and wildlife. A valid driving licence is essential and a firearms licence, animal related qualification or relevant experience would be advantageous.

 

Working 40 hours a week, five days out of seven 8.00am to 5.00pm possibly including weekends and bank holidays.
