Port Lympne Wild Animal Park on the Kent Coast is home to Livingstone Lodge, an award winning and exciting African Safari Experience, Livingstone Cottage a VIP Safari, and Elephant Lodge, our family camping experience.
This fantastic variety of short break packages offers our guests an amazing opportunity - a chance to sample a taste of Africa in Kent! Giraffe, black rhino, elephant, cheetah, zebra and many more wild animals provide the backdrop to our unique accommodation options. Guests are able to listen to the sounds of the Serengeti and enjoy a magical night under the stars, just a short distance from the stunning coastline of Kent.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Ranger

You will need a good general knowledge of African wildlife, to act as a tour guide providing our guests with a truly unforgettable experience. The post is seasonal, fixed term from now until the middle to end of October 2013. Pay is £7.45 an hour.
 Relevant experience of working in and around a Safari Lodge in Africa is essential as is a valid driving licence and a valid work visa for working in the UK. The ideal candidate will be FGASA qualified.

Working hours are split shifts over five days a week, include weekends, Bank Holidays, unsociable hours along with Duty Rangering (which entails staying on site).
