Do you have a
passion for nature and would love to work with animals? If so, we have a great
opportunity that might be just for you.
Joining our
dedicated team of Zoo Keepers means you will experience working with a wide
variety of animals and species. Although a challenging role, the rewards and
satisfaction which comes from knowing you are playing a critical role in
ensuring that animal welfare and husbandry standards are at the highest
possible level are endless.
You will need as a
minimum an animal management qualification, however funding will be provided
for you to study for the Diploma in the Management of Zoo and Aquarium Animals.
Due to the nature of the work you will need to have experience of working with
a variety of species, be physically fit and be prepared to be flexible within
the team.
In return, as part
of Drayton Manor Theme Park, our Zoo offers a great environment to work in. In
addition to funded training, you will receive complimentary tickets to the
Theme Park, on-site employee discounts, access to discounted tickets for other
attractions, free on-site parking and a subsidised lunch provision.
Please note that you
will be required to participate in a 6 day on and 2 day off rota, which
includes Bank Holidays. Interviews to be held on Tuesday 16th September 2014.
