The Birds of Prey Centre, based at Aillwee Cave was established in 2008.
The Centre’s goals have been to educate and entertain visitors with dynamic flying displays set against the dramatic Burren Landscape. We have over 40 birds in the Centre which are managed to the highest husbandry standards.

The Mission of our Centre is to aid the Conservation of Birds of Prey through visitor awareness and education, whilst actively fund raising for Raptor conservation monitoring efforts within Ireland. Using the funds raised within the Centre, we have contributed to the Irish red kite re-introduction program, national hen harrier survey (2010+2015) and have helped on the ground with vulture conservation in Nepal.

The new member of the team needs to:-
Work within a busy, dynamic Centre and Team
Be self-disciplined and show good initiative under pressure
Be able to fly large eagles and falcons in demonstrations
Have an understanding and experience of raptor husbandry, training and conservation
Provide the highest level of Customer Service
Be comfortable and articulate in speaking to the public
