Work Experience Placements


Durrell is delighted to be able to offer a number of work experience placements which will give you a unique understanding of working for an international conservation organisation.

There is the chance to develop your skills across a variety of departments at Durrell, including the mammal, bird, herpetology, lab and veterinary, and marketing departments.

There is also the opportunity to complete research projects and dissertations during your placement.

A placement at Durrell will provide valuable experience to add to your CV showing future employers that you are committed to a career in the conservation sector.

We will be taking applications from 11th September 2017 for:
•         Summer placements - Flexible starting May/June 2018 to September 2018.
•         Year placements - Flexible starting 1st September 2018 to August 2019.

Closing date for applications will be 15th December 2017. If you are selected for interview we will arrange to contact you via Skype in early January and successful candidates will be notified by 20th January 2018.

If you are required to complete a research project during your placement please indicate this at the time of your application.
