Gauntlet Birds of Prey is looking for an experienced display falconer to present multi species flying presentations over the 2018 summer season.

Gauntlet is based in Knutsford, Cheshire, and is entering it’s 22nd year this year. Gauntlet prides itself on its jaw dropping multi species flying demonstrations where up to 30 birds take to the sky together. Opportunity has arisen for an experienced display falconer to join Gauntlet on a seasonal basis aiming to start in March 2018 through to October 2018. Potential winter work after out of season may be available.

The role will include running daily presentations flying a large variety of birds of prey including eagles, owls, hawks, falcons, storks, pelicans, and other unusual species! The successful candidate will also be required to present and run several of Gauntlets experience days which are run throughout the year. The role would suite a person with zoo display/presentation background, experience is essential but full training will also be given. It is a full-time role working 5 days a week including weekends. Must be able to drive and have use of a vehicle.
